In my efforts to finish off Dual Identities, I’ve found myself in a rough patch.  My choices have been to continue on as I have been, doing everything in a set order or to go back to my default method and jump around between the ten or so scenes that are left.

I surprised myself when I found my muse pointing me at the very next scene.  I thought I was going to jump ahead to a different point, one that’s purely character-driven and emotional.  Instead, I’m staying the course and finding I can create action that is emotional, even if the action doesn’t often involve the point of view character.

And with that, I’m off to do more writing.  Books don’t write themselves.
